Whats worst than a poet ?

A poet who inflicts his poetry on the world wide web......

And I'm just about to do that. But worry not maybe I'll quit ....too soon.
My last attempt to maintain a blog was disastrous. Updated only thrice in a whole year, with nothing much to cheer about.

This , I hope is gonna be different. This is poetry.

Do I know whats poetry. You judge that. I used to pen poems way back from when I was 13-14 years old. Used to brag to my pals that I could write poetry with anything. You name the topic/subject/event and here's a lyrical,meaningful and thoughtful set of words churned out from my poetry machine.

I was prolific too. Had close to 200 poems on things like school, friends, shoes, cricket, boredom, suicide, fantasies in a year. Good you would say and yes 'twas too good. I rode my hobby horse to death .

Overcome by blase , I finally quit the next year and foolishly lost my book somewhere in the trash of books i had preserved with me.

Efforts are on to trace that notebook. If I do find it you will see those priceless memories. But otherwise you will see a fresh start.

So cheers to the Blabbering Bard. May he sing, may he Hum, May his keyboard be ne'er left without the ink. Dum de de dum...
